Tree Candy - Dual Purpose Organic Garden Light

This project aimed at creating a fully 3D printable, fun & fantasy garden light. My concept for this project was "Tree Candy", a hanging playful tealight lantern. "Tree Candy" is dual-purpose and can hang from a height or sit on a flat surface to create a whimsical and calming atmosphere.
This project combined my competencies in 3D modeling using Solidworks & Zbrush, to create a user-friendly & manufacturable product, which is also organic and visually playful.
The steps of this project included:
Product Concept development
Product CAD Design (through Solidworks & Zbrush)
Product optimization for manufacturability (FDM 3D printing)
Prototyping & quality check
Details of product top, including the handle & twist-open light carteridge mechanism.
Realistic render of the product. This product is aimed to be printed with Translucent PLA material.
Product fully functional prototype, created through FDM printing.
