Local Business Website – Framer Build (Café Leon)

Café Leon is a fictional local business website built during the Framer course by Matt Jumper. The project simulates a small café’s online presence, focusing on approachable design, clear information, and simple customer interactions. The goal was to practice building a service-oriented site that feels welcoming while remaining functional and easy to manage.

The challenge was to design a site for a neighborhood café that communicates atmosphere, offerings, and essential info without relying heavily on visuals. The website needed to highlight menus, booking options, and location details in a clean, text-forward way, while staying fully responsive across devices.

The site was built entirely in Framer, using a custom template as a foundation. I customized the fonts, colors, and layouts to create a cohesive brand feel, structured and populated content through the CMS, and set up custom page layouts for different sections. Forms for contact and reservations were connected, and subtle animations were added to make navigation smooth. While Café Leon is a fictional project, the process reflects how I would approach a real local business site - balancing clarity, responsiveness, and ease of use.
