Summary: My own music platform, designed and built A to Z: React, FastAPI, audio player, transparent Stripe donations.

Context: SWSD Music Production is my own independent music project: cinematic alternative music, always free to listen to, with 50% of donations going to the mental health charities Mind and UNAFAM. I designed and built the whole platform myself, A to Z: brand, UX, design, code, launch and marketing. The site presents releases, lyrics, song stories, French translations, video content and the Mental Health Pledge.

What I delivered:

A bilingual EN/FR, fully responsive React front end with Tailwind CSS

A custom audio player for the catalogue, plus media integration

A FastAPI (Python) backend and MongoDB data architecture

Donations through the Stripe API, with a public transparency ledger showing every charity donation receipt by month and running totals

The Mental Health Pledge sign-up journey

Google Analytics integration and a compliant cookie banner

Technical SEO, structured metadata, performance and Core Web Vitals optimisation
