Streamlined Enrollment UI Design for Amplify Health

Objective: Design and implement a transparent, streamlined enrollment experience for the Amplify platform, allowing employees to easily enroll in individualized health plans and utilize employer-provided funding, directly supporting Amplify’s mission to move beyond "one-size-fits-all" group plans.

Scope: UI/UX redesign, multi-step flow optimization, and visual design integration.

Duration: 2 Weeks (Estimated)

The core challenge was to create an enrollment experience that reflects Amplify's promise of simplicity and personalization. Traditional health plan enrollment is notorious for being complex and anxiety-inducing. We needed to transform a data-intensive process which requires gathering personal details, dependents, preferred providers, and medications into a logical, confidence-building journey. The platform had to effectively communicate the value of the employer-provided benefit (e.g., pre-tax dollars for 2025 coverage) while keeping the user focused on the next actionable step.

We developed a highly structured and visually modern UI centered around a clear, 8-step sequential user flow. This approach systematically breaks down complex data collection into manageable segments:

A clean interface utilizing a calming and professional color palette (fresh blues and greens) to establish trust and reinforce the health focus.

A persistent, high-visibility Progress Indicator across the top of every screen to reduce user anxiety and provide a clear sense of progress and completion.

The use of clear form grouping and contextual help (e.g., "Why we ask for this" on the Personal Details screen) to build transparency and encourage accurate data input.
