Mhove: An All-in-One On-Demand Services App for Africans on the Move

PROJECT OVERVIEW

One App. Every Service You Need on the Go.

Africans on the move shouldn't have to juggle five different apps to book a ride, find a hotel, order food, or reach a mechanic. Mhove brings all of these services into a single, seamless platform — designed from the ground up for the realities of African urban life. Swiftcraft Studio led the full product design of three interconnected experiences: a user app, a vendor app, and an admin dashboard — all designed in Figma with a unified design system.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

❌ Too Many Apps, Too Much Friction

Mr Abdul Lateef came to us with a clear observation: service consumers in Africa were being forced to fragment their daily needs across multiple apps — Uber for rides, separate platforms for food, hotels, mechanics, and more. This created unnecessary friction, wasted time, and a broken user experience. There was no single platform built specifically for the African context that could serve all these needs in one place. The client needed a product that could unify these services without sacrificing simplicity or speed.
SOLUTION

A Seamless User Experience Across Every Service

For the consumer-facing side, we designed an intuitive interface that lets users book rides, reserve hotel rooms, order from restaurants, connect with chefs, find barbers, and contact mechanics — all within a single app session. The information architecture was carefully structured so that switching between service categories feels effortless, not overwhelming. Every flow was designed to minimize the number of taps between intent and action.

Dual-Role Access: User and Vendor in One App

Rather than building two entirely separate apps for consumers and service providers, we designed a smart role-switching experience that lets individuals operate as both a user and a vendor from the same account. A restaurant owner can receive orders as a vendor, then book a ride home as a user — without logging out or switching apps. The vendor side was built with service listing management, order tracking, and earnings visibility, giving business owners everything they need to operate professionally.

Admin Dashboard for Full Business Control

We designed a dedicated admin interface that gives Mr. Abdul Lateef and his team complete oversight of the platform. The dashboard surfaces key business metrics, user and vendor activity, service performance data, and the tools needed to manage the ecosystem at scale. Every data point a founder needs to make decisions was considered in the layout and information hierarchy.
CONCLUSION

A Product Built for Scale, Designed with Purpose

From a blank brief to a fully realized, multi-sided platform — Swiftcraft Studio delivered end-to-end product design across three distinct app experiences, unified by a single design system in Figma. The result is a product that is intuitive for everyday users, empowering for vendors, and transparent for the business owner running it all.
The client responded positively to the final delivery, expressing satisfaction with how well the design translated his vision into a coherent and professional product experience.
