Approach
Conducted a detailed discovery phase to analyze Jira structures, workflows, and data dependencies.
Designed a field mapping matrix to align Jira issue types and custom fields with Zendesk ticket fields.
Used Exalate to establish a robust sync framework between Jira and Zendesk.
Developed custom scripts to handle data transformations, edge cases, and bulk migrations.
Performed iterative test migrations to validate accuracy, attachments, and permissions.
Scheduled the final cutover to ensure no ticket loss and continuity of live support operations.
Results
