In my consulting role with Lantana Films, I undertook a comprehensive business development initiative aimed at propelling the company's growth and market presence. The project began with a thorough immersion into the business and industry landscape, enabling me to identify key opportunities for lead generation and revenue enhancement. One of the primary tasks was to overhaul our pricing strategies and service packages, ensuring they were competitive and aligned with market demands.
To support our sales efforts, I created compelling sales collateral and a dynamic pitch deck using Canva, which were instrumental in our client acquisition process. Crafting detailed proposals and contracts further streamlined our workflow and solidified client relationships. Concurrently, I streamlined administrative tasks such as invoicing and expense management, leveraging tools like Wix for streamlined payment processing via portals and platforms like Zelle and Venmo.
Recognizing the importance of technology investments, I initiated the setup of essential tools like HubSpot for CRM, lead tracking, and marketing campaigns. This transition from manual email and Excel-based systems to a robust CRM facilitated more efficient lead management and enhanced client communications.
In parallel, I spearheaded efforts to strengthen our digital footprint and social media presence. This included conducting an comprehensive website audit to optimize user experience and implementing strategic updates-- most notably adding more self-serve features for potential customers for more engagement.
Additionally, I researched and identified suitable networking opportunities and associations to expand our industry presence and foster strategic partnerships. Scaling a solo entrepreneur's business from Austin to Denver meant finding as many budget friendly networking events and opportunties to connect with the community and develop additional partnerships.
I took proactive steps to explore and establish online lead sources through platforms such as Thumbtack, Fiverr, and Yelp, thereby diversifying our lead generation channels and expanding our client base.
Throughout this initiative, my role extended beyond traditional business development to include strategic consulting on future projects and initiatives. This included defining clear goals and pricing structures to elevate project profitability and introducing innovative concepts for industry leadership through expert content and educational platforms.
My contributions at Lantana Films were pivotal in driving significant advancements in business operations, client acquisition, and market expansion. This case study highlights my ability to lead multifaceted business development strategies, integrate technology for operational efficiency, and foster growth through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
