Nolana, the fearless disruptor in the lodging industry, is here to revolutionize staycations for women. Picture this: a curated selection of used apartments transformed into sanctuaries of comfort, equipped with cutting-edge home automation. But that's not all – Nolana has a mission, a burning desire to empower women and provide them with a secure space to rest, rejuvenate, and conquer the world.

Strategy-led Design

I partnered with the team at Nolana to create a comprehensive visual design system, this meant pinpointing who the user is and establishing how the product is aimed at solving their problem and pain points.
We researched the staycation culture, recognizing that while this visual design system had to elude a sense of warmth and safety, it had to be modern, and inclusive.

Unveiling Nolana: Where Beauty Meets Resilience.

As I embarked on the brand naming journey, I delved deep into the essence and unique qualities of your business or product. I searched for verbs that resonated with your brand's character, leaving a lasting impact on its identity. But that was just the beginning.
Pronunciation mattered. A name that effortlessly rolled off the tongue became the golden standard. And that's when Nolana blossomed into existence. Nolana, derived from a captivating flower, symbolizes both elegance and unwavering strength. It's a flower renowned for blooming in the harshest conditions, defying all odds. And just like that, the name Nolana was born.
Nolana represents more than just a name. It embodies a serene haven amidst life's storms—a place of tranquillity, where weary souls find solace and respite. It's a testament to the beauty and resilience that lies within us all.
I created a distinct wordmark and design system that would become a recognizable depiction for staycations, not just to be used in the brand material but to stand out when placed against other brand marks in marketing material.

With the Logo chosen, it was time to bring the visual identity to life. We crafted a unified identity that resonates across contexts, exploring colour schemes, refining shapes, and synchronizing typography.

With a unified visual identity in place, it was time to unleash the logo's potential in real-world scenarios. I dived into the exciting realm of mockups, breathing life into the logo and showcasing its versatility across a myriad of applications. From digital platforms to print materials, I meticulously crafted mockups that showcased the logo's seamless integration and undeniable impact. It was a thrilling journey of exploration, where the logo came alive, making its mark in every use case.
In the exhilarating culmination of our Nolana project, we set out to create an identity that would create a space for women to find solace, strength, and a renewed sense of empowerment.
