I participated in a hackathon over the summer, which was a daunting prospect as I had to work with strangers. However, this experience taught me the importance of networking and collaboration, and I am now more confident in talking to new people. Despite the 5-6 hour time difference, my team and I created an impressive business pitch with intricate UI designs for our app, 'Menty', which helps people detect mental health disorders using accessible methods.
The intricate UI designs perfectly complemented the app's functionality. I played a key role in leading the creative aspects of the project, leveraging my eye for design and UX to make our pitch stand out. Our team's dedication paid off when we were recognized for our impressive work!which was an amazing achievement given the distance between us!
