When it comes to making money as a visual artist, prints are usually the first thing that comes to mind. But if you’re looking to make more money, consider these three streams of income.

This commission comes at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products and services that I have used and believe will add value to my readers. Host Paint Parties

You can host paint parties at homes or partner with local businesses. These parties are a great way to get people together and have fun while creating art.
You can host birthday parties, date nights, family reunions…the options are endless. If you don’t want to actually instruct you can also sell paint party kits online which people can purchase and host their own parties.
This could possibly become passive if you get to the point where you have people working for you.

Design Journals With Your Artwork

Amazon KDP is a great platform to sell your designs as notebooks. You simply upload your designs and Amazon takes care of the rest, from printing to shipping.
It’s a great way to make passive income and get your artwork out there.
BookBolt is a great way to easily create journals. You can upload your own artwork or create right in BookBolt. It’s extremely user-friendly and has so many tools to create the covers and interiors of your notebooks.
BookBolt was generous enough to give me a discount code. Use RANDIC for 20% off.

Review Art Supplies on Amazon

As a visual artist, you have a lot of knowledge about the best art supplies to use. You can share your expertise with others by reviewing art supplies on Amazon.
Not only will you make money, but you’ll also be helping others make informed decisions about their art supplies purchases. You can repurpose the videos on other platforms like Pinterest, and YouTube to possibly make more money.
Each time someone watches at least 30 seconds of your video and purchases anything on Amazon, you get a commission. The first step to doing this is to sign up and get approved as an Amazon Associate.
