Buildstory is a global community and hackathon platform designed to help creators "build something real and show the world." To capture their mission of bringing together builders from across 24 different countries, the visual identity needed to feel unified, energetic, and highly rewarding.

The logo is designed as a portal, symbolizing an entry point into the world of creation. The logo is highly versatile, serving as a dynamic frame that allows for a unique variation with every new season of the hackathon.

This approach ensures that while the core brand identity remains consistent, the visual language can adapt to fresh themes and aesthetics over time.

To celebrate the global scale of the event, we designed a series of custom postage stamps for different participating nations.

By using a striking "International Orange" as the unifying accent color against monochromatic cityscapes and landscapes, the stamps visually connect builders from all over the world under one cohesive brand ecosystem.

We gamified the hackathon experience by introducing a tiered badge system that users can collect at various stages of the hackathon.

The vibrant gradients and 3D textures inside each portal badge were directly inspired by the evolving colors of the sky, ranging from sunrise clouds to outer space.

To encourage community engagement and celebrate milestones, we created shareable digital postcards. Each personalized graphic combines the builder's earned badge, their respective country's stamp, and a custom postmark reflecting the exact date they earned it.
