The legacy of the Bloody Mary is a cocktail of innovation, character, and refinement that spans nearly a century and rounds the globe. It is a heritage that begins with and invariably returns to St. Regis.

The book, in its third edition, is meant to celebrate each of these unique creations while giving equal tribute to the physical space and ambiance where the cocktail is to be savored.

Central to the St. Regis brand is their impeccable expression of luxury from service, to rituals, art, and design. The ambiance, glassware, bartender, and setting, all make for an indelible experience.

The introduction sets the foundation with a bit of history, an overview of the essentials needed to make the perfect cocktail, elegant glassware and the signature exquisite touch only to be experienced at a St. Regis hotel. Each of the 46 signature recipes correlates to a hotel around the world. Anchored by a key ingredient indigenous to the locale, no two are alike.

The ambiance is equal to or certainly secondary to the ultimate enjoyment of a libation. Each St. Regis bar or lobby displays a bespoke painted mural that speaks to the local culture. As you meander through the book, we take you through the lobby, into the bar, and finally to each recipe, indulging in all the details.

The cover design is bold and vibrant, a reflection of the storied Bloody Mary. On the back cover, we pay homage to the iconic St. Regis New York with a delicately debossed line illustration.

Interior spreads continue to celebrate the vibrant King Cole Red and elegant typography styles in line with the brand identity. New photography elevates the details and ingredients of each recipe, while line illustrations delicately feature the glassware, accouterments, and global presence of the brand and its influences.

Each recipe tells a story - starting with how the physical location and history of the place influence its flavors and ingredients, to instructions on how to recreate it at home.

Complementing each recipe is a feature of the mural art that dons the bar or surrounding space where guests mingle and imbibe.
