The Matcha Community app was designed to unite matcha enthusiasts. Users could easily sign up using Firebase, leveraging existing accounts like Google, Facebook, or Apple for a seamless onboarding experience.
Once signed up, users could participate in a 30-day matcha challenge, encouraging them to swap their daily coffee for matcha. Throughout the challenge, users were presented with benefits and useful information to keep them informed and motivated. This feature fostered daily engagement, encouraging users to return to the app consistently.
The app’s primary income source was affiliate marketing. A recommended matcha product marketplace, linked to affiliate accounts, generated revenue by driving product sales.
To enhance engagement and grow the community, users could share their matcha recipes and photos. This feature not only strengthened community interaction but also boosted affiliate sales through increased app activity and exposure.
