Mom Power Moves is a mompreneur consulting company founded by Lisa Koroma that supports busy moms in turning their business dreams into profitable realities, with expert branding and marketing services designed to reduce stress and help clients focus on their success.
The brand’s main challenge was maintaining a consistent and engaging presence on social media, especially Instagram and Facebook, with plans to expand to LinkedIn later in the year, despite having plenty of content and ideas.
The goal was to develop a clear project plan and support their marketing efforts by creating engaging content that builds visibility and drives growth across their social channels.

Starting point

When we started working together, there hadn’t been consistent posting across platforms.
Facebook had mostly photos, stories, and reels, with photos and links performing best, followed by reels. In terms of interactions, reels generated the highest engagement, then photos and links. The top post: a dance event promotion originally shared from another page with added commentary.
Instagram had primarily stories being posted, followed by posts. A reel titled "just keep moving mama" stands out by showcasing authentic personality and interests in a simple, authentic way (simple face-to-camera video filmed in the car).

Conclusion

In April 2025, Mom Power Moves saw strong engagement on Instagram, despite having fewer followers than on Facebook. Followers on both platforms remain highly engaged, presenting a clear opportunity to convert views into new followers and deepen connections with the existing community.
To build on this momentum, I’d implement two simultaneous content strategies: targeting non-followers with content designed to encourage them to follow for valuable insights and support; and creating engaging content specifically for current followers to boost engagement, including repurposing some of our top-performing reels as carousel posts.
On Facebook, we may want to consider expanding to increase reach and engagement, incorporating efficient content types like casual posts or podcast clips to help maintain consistency without adding excessive workload. We could also explore repurposing recorded calls or events for content, and engaging in more podcast guest appearances to further amplify the brand’s visibility.
