Linus is dedicated to making SAT preparation enjoyable, accessible, and impactful for every student.

Linus blends cutting-edge research (discover more about our Method) with an engaging, game-like experience to deliver an exciting SAT journey that leads to improved scores, boosted confidence, and greater opportunities for a brighter future – all at no cost to students!

The challenge was to create animations that capture the character's personality while illustrating each question in an engaging way, while keeping the balance between focus and entertainment.

Ensuring the animations are visually interesting without being overly distracting, as the primary goal is for students to focus on studying and maintain concentration.

There was over 300 animations made from all of us together for this project but I will only post some of the favourite ones I have animated.

I absolutely loooove the mascot Linus and I was really happy to be able to animate it in several emotional states and expressions.

As well as having the chance to animate Linus behaviour/reactions as the user logs into their Linus session.

All Linus Academy characters/mascots had a very distinct and relatable personalities of their own. Per example, Felix has a very laid-back, cheerful vibe, while Percy tends to be a bit more energetic and over the top.

One of my main characters to animate was Sable. She’s that cool goth girl (or squid, in her case) from high school that you’d love to be friends with, but aren’t sure how to approach. She’s definitely the high school rockstar.

I also really connected with Giselle the Giraffe character. She has an 80s professional and creative vibe that I identify with.

Kira the Koala is the caring environmental studies student with a passion for gardening and making the world a better place. She also makes awesome smoothies and natural juices!

Felix the Frog also has a creative side, dabbling in acting, directing, and painting. His character animations posed one of the biggest challenges, requiring a 180-degree rig for the animation below.

Percy rig also had the same challenges requiring a 180-degree for some animations like, per example, the one bellow were he is teaching math to the user. Here we also have several states triggered by 2 inputs for correct and incorrect answer.

Percy was one of the most comedic characters, with a personality that was both clumsy and a bit grumpy, which led to some of the funniest storylines.

Fiona the Fox is Linus free spirit. She is a peaceful soul that loves music, traveling and exploring new cultures. She also loves pizza apparently but, which student doesn't?

Charlie the Cat has a very outgoing personality and loves football and music!

Tony the turtle is the Punk funny clumsy student that gets along with everyone. He thinks he is a bit cooler than he is tho...

Troy the Toucan is the jock. He like to show off how strong he is in all chances he has in every shape and form. I also think he might have a crush o Bianca.

This was just a few of the animations I had the pleasure to work on on this big project that was definitely one of the most enjoyable I had so far.
