Splitsy is a hobby project built to simplify group expense tracking. It allows users to quickly create groups, add participants, and record shared expenses or incomes, all without the need for sign-ups. The app automatically calculates who owes whom and uses a smart debt-settlement algorithm to minimize the number of transactions required. The goal was to make expense sharing frictionless and intuitive for friends, trips, and small groups.
