Hill started a wheelchair dance team called the Rollettes following an accident that left her paralyzed.

At 17, she was in a car accident that left her paralyzed. She did not let her diagnosis get in the way of her dreams of being a professional dancer. Two years after becoming a paraplegic, Hill created a dance team of women in wheelchairs called Rollettesto meet other women with spinal cord injuries and build acommunity.
A community in which they did not get their disabilities in the way of their love of dance. Hill once said, “dance is dance whether you’re walking or you’re rolling.” To expand, Rollettes Hill has held a four-day dance camp in Los Angele,s California,for other women with disabilities to connect for eight years. Hill has shared her story on Ellen show and featured in different publications. She also stared in Push Girls and a Sundance reality shows that followed her and other women who started using wheelchairs due to their spinal cord injuries and how they adapted.
