The app designed to connect dog owners and their pets with like-minded companions in their area. I designed the interface with a focus on creating an engaging, intuitive, and fun user experience for pet owners while ensuring the functionality met the unique needs of the community.

Designing a platform that balances the needs of both pet owners and their dogs.

Process
Discovery Phase:
Conducted surveys and interviews with dog owners to identify their challenges in finding playmates for their pets.
Created user personas and journey maps to guide the design process.
Design Phase:
Designed wireframes that emphasized easy navigation and key features like user profiles, dog details, and matchmaking filters.
Built a vibrant, pet-friendly design system with playful colors, paw-print-inspired icons, and smooth animations.
Developed features such as profile creation for dogs, compatibility filters (e.g., size, age, activity level), and a chat system for owners.
Validation Phase:
Tested prototypes with a group of dog owners to gather feedback.
Iterated on the designs to improve clarity and usability based on user input.
