IoV-Based Road Accident detection

Our work revolves around addressing the critical issue of road accidents by harnessing the capabilities of the Internet of Vehicles (IOV). Road accidents pose significant risks, leading to injuries, fatalities, and extensive property damage. Thus, it is crucial to develop effective solutions that can promptly detect accidents and initiate appropriate measures. Our solution involves deploying IOV technology, which enables vehicles to communicate with each other and infrastructure elements. By utilizing vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication, our system collects and analyzes real-time data from connected vehicles on the road.
