I wore two hats for Muza Weddings: Webflow developer bringing the website to life, and design collaborator ensuring a seamless translation of the vision into a beautiful and functional website.

Muza Weddings, a wedding planner specializing in destination weddings for international clients in Portugal, needed a strong online presence to showcase their luxurious services. Their goal was a website that mirrored their brand identity: clean, sophisticated, and visually stunning.

I played a key role in translating Muza Weddings' vision into reality. I collaborated closely with the graphic designer, Joel, to define the website's hierarchy and structure. Together, we created a mood board that captured the desired aesthetic – modern, stylish, and minimal – perfectly suited to their high-end clientele. I then took the lead in developing the website from scratch using Webflow.

The project spanned a month, with the initial focus on establishing a solid style guide for consistent branding throughout the website. I then meticulously configured Webflow's CMS (Content Management System) to allow Muza Weddings to easily update their content.

A significant challenge was ensuring the website could handle a large volume of high-resolution images, especially in CMS sections where thousands of images might populate a single page. To address this, I implemented a smooth image loading system, optimizing user experience even with extensive image galleries.

We also focused on interconnectivity between website elements. Wedding testimonials could be linked to specific events, which in turn could connect to blog posts and vendor profiles. Additionally, we created a vendor backoffice within Webflow, allowing them to manage their information across various website sections.

Another innovative feature is the automated Instagram feed integration. New Instagram posts are automatically displayed on the website, eliminating the need for manual updates and ensuring visitors always see the latest content.

Crucially, the website is fully responsive, adapting flawlessly to all screen sizes. This was a key consideration, as most users would likely access the website from social media – primarily mobile devices. By prioritizing a mobile-first approach, we ensured a seamless user experience for all Muza Weddings' potential clients, regardless of their device.
