The in-house event webpages at Goldcast were previously custom made through either the Goldcast in-house admin panel or a platform like Webflow, both of which had limitations. The former had limited scope for experimentation and custom branding, while the latter was time-consuming.

To address these limitations, multiple iterations of a solution were created and tested, considering different use cases. This iterative process allowed for the identification of the most effective and efficient solution.

The chosen solution was a template that could be easily accessible and editable. The template was designed to allow for custom branding through the creation of a top banner, where either a Lottie animation or PNG image could be added to represent the branding of the event.

The template system was successful in reducing the dependency on the marketing design team and allowing for more efficient event creation by other teams within the organization. This resulted in a more streamlined and empowered workflow, freeing up the designer's time to focus on creating the top banner image.

The introduction of the template reduced the time and effort required to create event webpages, freeing up resources and allowing for more efficient and effective event creation. The template also allowed for a more hands-on and empowering approach for other teams within the organisation, enabling them to create and manage events without having to rely solely on the marketing design team.
