The brief: The lovely folks at Word Tonic (the leading Gen-Z copywriting community) tasked their members with writing the script for a 1 minute TV advert promoting Liquid Death canned water.
How I did it: Inspired by the company's existing messaging using violence (e.g. Murder your thirst), I wanted to realise a battle scene that was in-keeping with their tongue-in-cheek tone of voice. My solution to writing a witty battle scene was to create a parody of Les Miserables, replacing the fight against a government with the fight against plastic.
The solution: My script was selected as the winner of the challenge, and has been shared with the VP of Liquid Death.
