QuickDoc was born out of the need to address the digital divide in the field of public process management. Starting from research that showed us an ocean of information, we sought to understand why users do not complete processes or fail to identify themselves in many cases, and to propose concrete solutions.

"Your first idea is never going to be your best idea"

Some phrases sound too absolute, but in this case, it was true. We intended to make technology more accessible to the elderly, and the starting point was desk research. We needed to gather information from documents, websites, and other quick and free resources. After the initial research, we concluded that the most challenging aspect was dealing with administrative procedures.
We should narrow it down a bit more, as we had diverged with all the information we had. Now it was time to converge and take another step in the research, directly asking the user about their needs. After this, we concluded that this was not a problem solely for the elderly but encompassed a huge part of the general population.
So to make a basic version of the product that could show the most basic and main features of the project we had to prioritize and focus our solution. And we opted for the SEPE. And within the SEPE, the processing of Unemployment Benefits.

''De cada punto de fricción saber crear la oportunidad''

Now that we knew what our objective was, we put ourselves in the users' shoes by analyzing the process of the procedure and from there we extracted the main difficulties suffered by the users from the User flow. And from this, we drew different conclusions that we reflected in the Empathy Map, which is a visual tool that helps to understand the needs, desires, behaviors and thoughts of the users of a product or service, in order to create solutions that better meet their needs. And after that, we thought about how the idea would be structured.

Available on the App Store

With all the information we had, the team decided that it would be a native iOS App, due to the fact that to deal with sensitive information we need to project the highest possible security to the user, as well as access to tools such as the camera or phone files.
