How to Write Software Reviews That Rank Above G2 and Trustpilot

In 14 “[tool] review” searches, Trustpilot and Reddit appeared every time, so review articles compete for the few spots left on page 1.

I coded the 12 software reviews in Google’s US top four against their structure and Google’s own review guidelines, then turned the patterns into a testing routine and a template.

Nearly all of them show screenshots, pricing, FAQs, and a visible date. The best stand out with rarer proof, such as a second reviewer (4 of 12), measured test results (4), and a dated change log (5).
