I worked with a Denmark-based business offering online yoga memberships to improve the on-page SEO performance of their website ahead of future growth. The project focused on strengthening search visibility, aligning content with real user intent, and creating a scalable SEO foundation rather than chasing short-term rankings.

Challenges
Existing content lacked clear intent targeting
Pages were informative but not structured in a way that search engines easily interpret. There was no content hierarchy (H1, H2, H3 and so on) and no alt text to images
The website had no title tags and meta descriptions for its webpages
The website lacked explanatory content (no FAQs, inadequate "About" page, no "Blog", no "Benefits" section) which could impact longterm authority building.
Overlapping topics caused keyword cannibalization risk. The client's brand was very niche, not the classical yoga website for the general population.
The client needed SEO work that could support future investment and growth, not just short-term traffic
Changes had to be implemented carefully without disrupting the existing site setup and layout

What Was Done
Conducted a full on-page SEO audit focused on content quality, structure, and intent
Conducted competitor analysis to uncover user intent, keywords/keyphrases and missed opportunities
Analyzed target keywords and mapped them to pages based on search intent (informational vs transactional)
Optimized headings (H1–H3), internal linking, and content flow for clarity and depth
Added schema markup to all webpages for better search engine visibility
Submitted the website's sitemap to google search console
Improved meta titles and descriptions to better reflect page value and increase relevance
Identified content gaps and provided recommendations for future pages and blog topics
Documented SEO guidelines so the client can maintain consistency as the site grows. A pre-recorded presentation and a PDF were handed over to the client for future reference.
Lastly, we hopped on a follow-up call to wrap the project up, discuss issues and answer any questions the client had.
