Brand Essence

Ouch Baby's brand stands for beautiful chaos in every step. It's a soft rebellion against precious perfection and an invitation to let your baby be gloriously, messily, authentically themselves along the way.

Brand Strategy

More than just another baby clothing company, we positioned Ouch Baby as the solution to precious parenting culture and elevated everyday baby essentials to be treated like investment pieces for tiny humans. This included thoughtfully designed touchpoints at every step of the customer journey across photography, packaging, messaging, product design, content, and more.

Brand Identity

Ouch Baby's visual concept is built off concepts of authenticity, playfulness, durability, and understated elegance. We sought to create a system that felt premium without being pretentious, and playful without being childish. To thread that needle, we designed a refined, approachable brand identity made special with tactile, honest, and subtly imperfect details.
In addition, we created a crescent moon symbol as a key brand element, representing the constant, beautiful change that defines childhood. The moon phases are woven throughout the brand as a signature motif, appearing subtly in packaging folds, garment tags, and as delicate embroidered details on select pieces.
