Smoke Design is an integrated branding and design agency based in Blackburn, UK. They needed a website that matched the caliber of their own creative output: cinematic, considered, and built to leave an impression. The old site wasn't doing the work justice.
The goal was a premium digital presence that positions Smoke Design as a serious creative partner for brands looking for graphic design, web design, animation, and mobile application work.
The Approach
I designed and built the entire site in Framer, keeping the experience scroll-driven and visually immersive. Every section was crafted to feel intentional rather than templated.
Key design decisions:
Full-bleed hero sections with layered typography and cinematic imagery, setting the tone immediately
Scroll-based storytelling that walks visitors through the agency's philosophy, services, and recent projects without feeling like a traditional agency site
A four-step process section (Discovery, Direction, Craft, Delivery) that communicates how Smoke Design works, giving potential clients confidence before they even reach out
Project showcase grid featuring recent work like Sirens Branding, Ember House, and After Dark, each with clean category tags
Services Highlighted
The site clearly presents four core service areas:
Graphic Design — Identity systems and visual language
Web Design — Considered digital experiences
Animation — Motion that gives brands rhythm and presence
Mobile Applications — Native-feeling products for daily use
The Result
A fast, responsive Framer site that feels premium from the first scroll. The design leans into bold typography, generous whitespace, and full-width imagery to let the agency's work breathe. It's built to convert visitors into inquiries through a clear CTA and direct email contact.
The site is currently live on a staging URL and will move to the agency's custom domain on launch.
