A barber with clippers in his hand can't text you back.
So I built Gaslight Barber Co. with @Lovable, a fictional two chair barbershop in Savannah, Georgia. The problem: Marcus cuts hair all day, Saturdays are packed, weekday evenings have no shows, and he handles every booking himself.
Customers pick a service and a barber, then see only times that truly fit the cut, plus a reset buffer for the chair. They confirm in a few taps and get a confirmation and a reminder, shown as text previews in the demo. A card hold is only charged for a no show.
On the shop side, Marcus has a day timeline for both chairs. If a cut runs long, one tap on Running behind updates every waiting client. An autopilot log shows what the app handled so he didn't have to.
This is an exploratory demo, not a real booking service. No real texts are sent and no real charges are made.
