Discovering The World of Healthcare Professionals

Designed for a joint initiative for my day job at New York City Health & Hospitals/Kings County and Medgar Evers College Preparatory School, the logo went through a number of revisions (can be seen below) before we landed on the above and an altered version to be used on the book bags that were gifted to students during the event.

The logo originally took shape with logo "001" to the left to reference the medical symbol of the cross and snake. With some more discussions with leadership, we landed on logo "002" to more capture the "health care" aspect of the initiative, before landing on "003" on the right to symbolize this initiative being global and inclusive. The compass was made to symbolize the notion of discovery and wonder.

Below are sample backpacks to be distributed to students attending the event. The sample backpacks feature a slightly altered iteration of the logo in response to the needs of our manufacturing partners.
