A few months ago, I wrote (ghostwriting) a glossary post on “product marketing” for growthmentor.com. It’s one I’m proud of because I believe I was able to properly break down the topic, answer the reader’s most important questions and show good examples for better context.

The key thing I learned from my research was summarized in my opening statement, “Product marketing is the bridge between product development and product adoption.”
Drawing from everything I consumed, I learned the primary goal of product marketing is driving demand and adoption, but the process truly begins at the product development stage. That statement was the simplest way to explain the topic to the reader before providing supporting materials.
