CanBe Innovations App Landing Page Design

The CanBe Innovations app is a groundbreaking platform designed to revolutionize cancer care by connecting patients with charitable resources and providing charities with efficient tools for managing operations. I was tasked with creating the landing page for the app, which needed to effectively communicate the platform’s mission while offering a seamless user experience to two distinct audiences: cancer patients and charitable organizations.

Objective

The goal of the landing page design was to:
1. Present CanBe's mission of blending AI technology with compassionate care.
2. Emphasize the dual-platform approach:
- A mobile app for cancer patients.
- A web-based CRM solution for charities.
3. Provide clear calls to action that encourage app downloads and charity sign-ups.
4. Design an intuitive and emotionally resonant experience that reflects the sensitivity of the subject matter.

Design Process

1. Research & Inspiration
I began by understanding the needs of both cancer patients and charitable organizations through competitor research, user persona development, and empathy mapping. This research informed the design direction, where simplicity, trustworthiness, and empathy were the primary drivers.
2. Wireframing & User Flow
Next, I created wireframes to map out the structure and user flow. The wireframes ensured a logical journey from the first interaction to the desired actions, such as downloading the app or signing up for the charity CRM. I focused on creating intuitive pathways for each user type while keeping the experience accessible and easy to navigate.
3. Visual Design
The visual design was developed with sensitivity and professionalism in mind. I opted for a clean, minimalist aesthetic that leveraged a calm colour palette, soft imagery, and ample white space to evoke a sense of care and support. The imagery featured individuals impacted by cancer, balanced with visuals that conveyed the modern, tech-driven nature of the platform.

Key Features of the Landing Page Design

1. Hero Section
The landing page opens with a powerful, emotionally resonant hero section. The headline, “Empowering Cancer Patients, Supporting Charities,” immediately communicates the dual focus of the platform. A prominent CTA button encourages users to explore the app, with secondary navigation leading to the charity CRM solution.
2. Platform Features
This section highlights the two main components of the CanBe platform: the mobile app for patients and the web-based CRM for charities. A side-by-side layout allows for easy comparison, ensuring both audiences understand the specific benefits available to them.
3. Call to Action
To ensure that users are consistently guided toward engagement, I included clear and concise CTAs throughout the page. For patients, the CTA directed them to download the app, while charities were guided to a sign-up page to claim their verified accounts.
4. Mission & Vision
A dedicated section was designed to communicate CanBe’s broader mission of transforming cancer care through technology and compassion. This section used strong messaging and imagery to drive home the emotional core of the brand.

Challenges & Solutions

One of the main challenges was balancing the needs of two distinct user groups—cancer patients and charities—without overwhelming the page with too much information. I addressed this by creating a clean, intuitive layout with distinct sections for each audience, ensuring clarity while maintaining a unified brand message.
Another challenge was creating a design that conveyed both the innovative technology and the deeply human side of the platform. To achieve this, I carefully balanced tech-forward visuals with softer, emotionally resonant imagery and copy.

Results

The final landing page design successfully communicates the unique value of CanBe Innovations to both cancer patients and charities. It blends professionalism with compassion, creating a seamless and inviting user experience that encourages engagement. The design effectively supports CanBe’s mission to empower patients and charities alike, while fostering trust and community within the platform.

Conclusion

This project was a rewarding experience, allowing me to combine my skills in UX design with a meaningful cause. The final design not only showcases CanBe’s innovative approach to cancer care but also reflects the platform’s heart: supporting those who need it most. This project strengthened my ability to design for dual audiences and create a landing page that both informs and inspires action.
