Having started as a CPO, refined a sophisticated FinTech product idea and lead its implementation to a pre-MVP stage of development. Pulled together market research with legal and technology requirements, hired superior talent, executing on a rather constrained budget of $500K.
Led legal research into regulatory and anti-money laundering requirements and trends, for the countries within the target markets. Constructed a three-year legal roadmap for an entry into a group of Asian markets, on a budget of $150K, while obtaining legal opinions and local regulator memorandums. This represents a cost saving of as much as 5X, compared with what a typical FinTech startup would spend for this stage of development.
Delivered actionable custdev metrics, by interviewing potential customers and partners and modeling sales channels, all while negotiating a substantial acquisition offer from a major Hong Kong company.
Collaborated with key shareholders on the business strategy and corporate structure, while taking into account the banking environment and tax considerations. After developing the business and investment financial models and streaming the cap table, was offered a CEO position.
During the CEO tenure attracted investments of $3M, at $14M valuation.
Supervised MVP delivery and actively participated in sales, marketing and business development, while validating product assumptions, together with the product and IT teams.
Generated two new product proposals, based on the backend capabilities, then started pre-marketing and reached preliminary agreements with potential clients and partners.
