BuildWright Construction Project Management SaaS

Inspired by Procore, this project was created as a more niche version of the popular construction management SaaS. I ascertained through interviews with my client that his unmet needs were an edge case in the usability of the project management app. He's a custom home builder so he works on smaller job sites compared to the massive undertaking of a public building construction like a skyscraper or a mall. The learning curve was too steep and did not function the way he needed it to so he dropped Procore and continued only using spreadsheets. 

I designed a more user friendly software mockup that is tailored for the project management of smaller architectural builds like custom homes and remodeling. The BuildWright project was created to streamline the project management process by enabling quick and easy file sharing/storage, progress tracking, material/ budget tracking and different levels of login access.

The design is minimalistic and emphasizes user-centered design, content clarity, and simplicity, which ultimately leads to improved user experiences. The name is a homage to my favorite architectural designer Frank Lloyd Wright. I've included a picture of one of his most well known designs Fallingwater as the background of the 1st section below the fold.
