ForU Web3 Social Platform

Overview

ForU is a Web3-based social platform designed to help users connect, interact, and participate in community-driven features. I worked as a Junior Product Designer and was involved from early-stage concept to high-fidelity UI and usability refinement. My role covered the full design process, including user flow definition, wireframing, interface design, feature expansion, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The Problem

Web3 platforms often face two major UX challenges: 1. Complexity, Many users are unfamiliar with blockchain concepts. 2. Trust, Users hesitate to engage when interfaces feel unclear or technical.

The challenge was to create a platform that felt:

Simple and intuitive
Visually modern but not overwhelming
Clear in user flow and interaction logic
Accessible for both Web3-aware and new users

My Role

Designed the core platform interface from early wireframes to high-fidelity UI
Structured user journeys for main interactions
Defined layout hierarchy and content organization
Built interactive prototypes in Figma
Designed engagement features integrated into the platform
Ensured consistent visual language across web and mini-app environments

Design Process

1. Understanding Product Logic

Before designing visuals, I mapped:
Entry points and onboarding behavior
Main interaction loops
Content discovery flow
Feature interaction patterns
This ensured the design was driven by user behavior, not aesthetics alone

2. Wireframing & Flow Structuring

I created low-fidelity wireframes to:
Validate navigation clarity
Reduce cognitive load
Simplify interaction patterns
Ensure logical progression between sections

At this stage, clarity and flow were prioritized over visual styling.

3. High-Fidelity UI Design

Using Figma, I translated the structure into a clean and scalable interface:
Clear typography hierarchy
Balanced spacing and alignment
Structured content grouping
Reusable component system
Developer-friendly layout organization

The design aimed to feel modern and social while remaining readable and structured.

Key Features

1. Unified Identity Dashboard

Designed a centralized dashboard that aggregates user data from Web2 (socials) and Web3 (wallets, on-chain activity, AI-ID) into a single transparent identity layer. Focused on clarity, hierarchy, and modular information grouping.

2. Identity Score Visualization System

Redesigned the “Identifi Score” component to visually represent reputation and growth over time using motion cues, gradient accents, and subtle glow effects. Improved visual hierarchy to make complex reputation metrics easier to understand at a glance.

3. Gamification & Reputation Progression

Integrated quest and badge systems to encourage user engagement. Designed clear progress indicators, achievement visuals, and level tracking components to make the reputation journey motivating and measurable.

4. AI-Assisted Insight Panels

Designed dynamic UI sections to surface AI-driven feedback and contextual analytics about user credibility and activity. Focused on readability, density control, and trust-building visual cues.

5. Web3 Visual System & Theming

Helped define a futuristic yet accessible Web3 visual tone using dark mode foundations, neon accent gradients, and glassmorphism-inspired components. Ensured consistency across cards, metrics, and status elements.

6. Scalable Component Architecture

Designed reusable components structured for scalability across desktop and web app experiences. Maintained information density while preserving clarity through spacing, grouping, and modular layouts.Outcome

Reflection

Designing ForU Web3 Social Platform strengthened my ability to balance emerging technology with practical usability. It reinforced the importance of structured design thinking, flow clarity, and building interfaces that support both user engagement and technical scalability.
