I optimized a placeholder four-page website for a managed security provider, working from a listing alone, and added three new pages in its existing design. The same 20 checks for search, speed and phones run on every page of both versions: the original passes 7 of 80, the optimized site passes 140 of 140. Fixes include unique titles and descriptions, one H1 per page, structured data, a sitemap, crawlable menu links, deferred scripts, one stylesheet and two font files instead of four. The original scrolls sideways on a phone on 4 of 4 pages; the optimized site on none, with 16 px text, 44 px tap targets and a phone menu. Average transfer per original page drops from 395 KB to 236 KB. The new pages cover security monitoring, incident response and an FAQ, linked from the menu, footer and sitemap. Testing covers 7 interactions on a phone, 134 internal links and a continuity check that keeps every original address, heading and paragraph.
