Simple objective: get more clicks and improve watch time without sacrificing the artistic integrity and edge of the channel!

First, I implemented more quick edits with more dramatic tension and release for comedic effect. Next, I made sure each clip was short and did a couple of things: reinforce the point of the commentary; juxtapose, contrast and compliment the commentary for comedic and poignant effect.

Finally, I used transitions and simple effects to make it more dynamic and keep interest as the storyline developed. Result: increase of 20-30% watch time retention to above 50% in days.
