Tag Dev is a blockchain-powered restaurant management system built for multi-location food service operations. The Super Admin Panel serves as the central command center, giving operators full visibility and control over every restaurant in their network, with blockchain ensuring tamper-proof transaction records and supply chain transparency.
The platform bridges the gap between traditional restaurant management software and Web3 infrastructure, bringing decentralized trust and auditability to an industry that desperately needs it.

The Problem

Restaurant chains face a recurring set of operational headaches:
Data integrity issues across multiple locations, where transaction records can be altered or lost
Supply chain opacity, making it nearly impossible to verify ingredient sourcing and vendor compliance
Fragmented admin tools that don't scale well beyond a handful of locations
Revenue leakage from manual reconciliation processes and inconsistent reporting
Traditional SaaS dashboards solve some of this, but they rely on centralized databases that are vulnerable to tampering and single points of failure.

The Solution

Tag Dev introduces blockchain as the trust layer underneath a modern, intuitive admin panel. Every critical transaction, from purchase orders to revenue settlements, gets recorded on-chain, creating an immutable audit trail that no single party can manipulate.

Key Features

Super Admin Dashboard A real-time overview of all restaurant locations with KPIs including daily revenue, order volume, active staff, and inventory levels. The dashboard aggregates on-chain and off-chain data into a single, actionable view.
Blockchain-Backed Transaction Ledger Every financial transaction is hashed and recorded on the blockchain. Admins can verify any transaction's authenticity instantly, eliminating disputes between franchisees, vendors, and corporate.
Multi-Location Management Add, configure, and monitor individual restaurant branches from one panel. Each location operates semi-autonomously with its own local data, but all critical records sync to the shared blockchain ledger.
Smart Contract Operations Automated vendor payments triggered by delivery confirmations. Supply chain milestones (order placed, shipped, received, verified) are tracked via smart contracts, reducing manual intervention and payment delays.
Role-Based Access Control Granular permissions for super admins, regional managers, branch managers, and staff. Each role sees only what they need, while the blockchain layer ensures every action is attributable and auditable.
Inventory & Supply Chain Tracking Real-time inventory levels across all locations with blockchain-verified supplier data. Ingredient provenance is traceable from farm to kitchen, supporting food safety compliance and quality assurance.
Analytics & Reporting Comprehensive reporting suite with revenue breakdowns, cost analysis, staff performance metrics, and trend forecasting. Reports pull from verified on-chain data, so the numbers are always trustworthy.
Order Management System Centralized order tracking across dine-in, takeout, and delivery channels. Order status updates propagate in real-time across the admin panel and individual branch terminals.

Technical Architecture

The system is built on a modern full-stack architecture with blockchain integration at the data persistence layer:
Frontend: React.js with a component-based UI architecture, responsive design for desktop and tablet admin use
Backend: Node.js with Express, handling API routing, business logic, and blockchain middleware
Database: MongoDB for off-chain operational data (menus, staff profiles, real-time order state) with on-chain anchoring for critical records
Blockchain Layer: Ethereum-compatible smart contracts (Solidity) for transaction recording, vendor payment automation, and supply chain verification
Web3 Integration: Web3.js for wallet connectivity and contract interaction from the admin panel
Real-Time: WebSocket connections for live dashboard updates, order status changes, and inventory alerts

My Role

I served as the lead full-stack and blockchain developer on this project, responsible for:
Designing the overall system architecture, bridging Web2 admin functionality with Web3 trust infrastructure
Building the React.js super admin panel from Figma designs, implementing all dashboard views, data tables, and interactive components
Developing the Node.js backend API layer with MongoDB integration
Writing and deploying Solidity smart contracts for transaction recording and vendor payment automation
Integrating Web3.js for seamless blockchain interaction within the admin UI
Implementing role-based access control and multi-tenant data isolation
Setting up real-time data pipelines for live dashboard metrics

The Tag Dev Super Admin Panel delivers a restaurant management experience where trust is built into the infrastructure, not bolted on as an afterthought.
