Studio Unruly designed the logotype for HEIS, Rema’s Grammy-nominated album and a defining moment in his career. The project demanded a mark that captured Rema’s evolution, his defiant energy, enigmatic persona, and the fearless creativity that continues to push Afrobeats into new forms.
Inspired by anarchy symbolism, bat imagery, and the visual language of Romain Gavras’ Athena, the logotype embodies motion, mystery, and controlled chaos. Working with illustrator Bolu Sonnaike, we created a sharp, asymmetric wordmark that mirrors the rebellious pulse of HEIS — both timeless and raw.
The result is a visual identity that feels alive: bold, unfiltered, and deeply tied to Rema’s artistic transformation and global impact.
