About the project
Know your customer (KYC) is the process whereby financial institutions verify the identity of their business counterparties, and access potential risk in relationships. It is important to demonstrate compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) requirements.
The KYC Registry is a secure global platform providing predefined data fields and document types to help standardize and streamline the data collection process.
Problem statement
The growing features in the products introduce unnecessary complexity and causes frustrations while users are using the product. Hence, UX team is involved in addressing the usability issue and redesign some of the features.
My role in the project
With another colleague, we were tasked to study and redesign some existing features. Enhancement of the feature also aimed to reduce the manual intervention by operation team and customer support team.
UX workshop
After reviewing all of the findings, I began designing wireframes in Figma. I collaborated closely with the project team to refine the designs.
We conducted UX workshops to collect insights and identify the user's challenges with current KYCR homepage. These workshops foster the collaboration between UX team and stakeholders by participating in hands-on activities that allow us to achieve an actionable goal.
We adopted Lightning Decision Jam (LDJ) format to run our workshops remotely.
Real time collaboration and well structure. A good way to get different perspectives to achieve one goal...” - Product Manager of KYCR

At the beginning of my design process I created a few designs for internal testing.
