Problem statement
The current product's usability issues are causing considerable frustration among users, exacerbated by the growing number of features on the platform, which negatively impacts the overall user experience
My role in the project
I took charge of enhancing UX improvement through the integration of design workflow with Agile practices. Working closely with the AGP product team, I collaborated with a junior product designer to create comprehensive end-to-end UX deliverables, prioritizing new features.
Some of the features I worked on:
Payroll management
Billing & invoicing
Competitive analysis
We conducted competitive analysis to identify competitors’ strengths and weaknesses relative to their own business, product, and design. Learning more about our competitors helps businesses to:
Assess where our product or design stands in the market
Define any gaps in the market
Know the strengths and weaknesses of our competition
Identify the advantages and disadvantages of our product
Have evidence to back up our design changes
Helps us solve usability issues
Limitations:
No direct access to the competitor’s products.
Proto persona
We interviewed internal stakeholders and created proto persona based on assumption
Prototype
Based on all the findings, I started designing the prototype in Figma based on feature requirements.
This is still an on-going project.
Moderated usability testing
Towards the end of the prototyping phase, we conducted remote moderated testing to validate the design solutions.
Tool: Useberry
Target participants: Internal & external users
After conducting a thorough analysis during the testing session, we utilized user feedback to inform and guide the subsequent design iteration.
Key achievements
Conduct UX workshops with cross functional teams
Attained a system usability scale (SUS) score exceeding 80% for new features.
Rolled out customer satisfactory survey (CSAT) survey to collect user feedback using Userpilot
