Grace Health Cycle Tracking Page Redesign

Grace Health is a women’s health app designed for emerging markets. It provides accessible health services and information to digitally connected women who lack trusted access to health services. Users can track their periods, understand their reproductive health, receive notifications and reminders, access discounted medical services, and educational content.

Originally, Grace assumed a 4-day period for every user. The app only allowed users to adjust their period start date, with no option to set an end date or customize their actual period length.

Inability to edit period dates:

Users can’t modify their period start or end dates after logging them, making it hard to keep their cycle history accurate.

Users can now mark the end of their period directly from the cycle page using the new “End Period” button. Simply select the date on the calendar, and the app will highlight and save it automatically updating the cycle and adjusting the fertile window based on the new information.

On the homepage, the user would be asked if the period has ended. If the user selects yes, a calendar pops up to let the user choose the end date. Once this is saved, the user is directed back to the homepage with an updated cycle card reflecting the new information.

Users can tap the “Edit Period” button to update either the start or end date. Selecting “Edit Period” opens a calendar to pick the correct date, which is highlighted for clarity. The app requires a selection before saving and then updates the calendar with the new cycle length and fertile window.
