1. The Challenge (The "Why")

The Problem: The brand was struggling to stand out on crowded retail shelves. The existing packaging lacked the "premium" appeal necessary to justify a higher price point and failed to communicate the brand’s unique flavor story.
The Objective: Redesign the packaging to elevate brand perception, attract a more sophisticated target audience, and create a shelf-presence that demands attention.

2. The Strategy (The "How")

Conceptual Approach: We pivoted toward a minimalist, high-end aesthetic. The design philosophy was "less is more," using negative space to emphasize quality and purity.
Typography & Palette: I selected a refined, editorial-style typeface to convey luxury. The color palette was curated to reflect the specific flavor notes (e.g., deep earth tones for dark chocolate, soft pastels for milk/sea salt).
Materiality: Focused on tactile finishing (matte textures vs. spot UV gloss) to create a sensory unboxing experience that bridges the gap between digital identity and physical product.

3. The Design Process

UX/UI Principles in Print: I applied UI design logic to the packaging, ensuring that the hierarchy of information (Brand Name → Flavor Profile → Sustainability Claims) guides the consumer’s eye instantly.
Iterations: Developed three distinct concepts, testing each for shelf-contrast and readability at a distance.
Technical Execution: Managed print-ready files with precise bleed lines, CMYK color profiles, and foil-stamping specifications to ensure the final product matched the high-fidelity mockups.
