Procession is an independent, print-only magazine covering darkwave, goth and industrial music. As Design Director for Issue 10, I redesigned the cover, masthead, typography and 60-page editorial system while preserving the publication’s raw, black-and-white character.

I created a flexible layout language that moves between expressive feature openings and readable long-form interviews. The publisher also wanted poster-style spreads, so I designed landscape compositions that ask readers to turn the magazine, making the physical format part of the experience.
