STOP 1 Projects and MoCADA needed a takeaway companion for NO I.C.E., a public-art project that repurposes bodega ice machines to spark conversation about immigration rights. Starting with a Google Docs outline, statistics, poster assets, and Know Your Rights materials, I designed a 9-page exhibition zine that functions as both an object and an accessible resource. Oversized type, distressed textures, and modular, poster-like spreads translate urgent data into a visual language rooted in the project’s street-level presence. The zine moves between artwork, local immigration statistics, and practical rights guidance, giving visitors something useful to take away after they leave the exhibition.
