Overview
ReorderFlow is a Shopify-embedded app built for merchants who create purchase orders and communicate with suppliers without leaving Shopify admin.
What it does
Matches suppliers to Shopify product vendors
Lets merchants set reorder points and reorder quantities through product metafields
Supports CSV bulk import for reorder rules
Generates purchase orders and lets merchants edit line quantities and unit costs
Moves purchase orders through draft, sent, partially received, received, and cancelled states
Exports purchase orders as PDFs and emails them to suppliers
Writes inventory adjustments back to Shopify when a purchase order is received
Role
I contributed as a Shopify Developer, building the embedded application experience and the purchase-order workflows that connect supplier management, receiving, and Shopify inventory updates.
Stack
React Router 7, TypeScript, Vite, PostgreSQL via Prisma, and the Shopify Admin API. The app runs inside Shopify admin using App Bridge.
Outcome
Merchants can manage reorder rules, create and send purchase orders, track receiving status, and return received stock to Shopify inventory from one workflow inside Shopify admin.
