Etherea — AI-Powered Astrology Membership Platform

Etherea is an astrology membership site built around a Personal Star Temple. Members enter birth date, time, and place, then receive a personalized natal chart report and daily transit readings. Access to those reports is gated by an annual Sacred Covenant subscription at $33 per year. Around the temple, the public site holds the wisdom pages, a celestial moon calendar, and the membership offer.

Public site: landing, About, and wisdom pages (Gnossenes, astrology and astrotheology, Star Temple, cookbook, oracle, retreat, village, shop, sacred teachings), plus a celestial calendar for the next full and new moon.

Member flow: signup and login, password reset, birth-details onboarding, temple dashboard, account settings.

Chart reports: birth place is geocoded, the natal chart is calculated, and Grok writes the interpretation. Daily transits compare the sky to that natal chart and are stored per member and date. Reports are shown with an interactive natal wheel.

Membership: Stripe Checkout for the annual plan, webhooks that keep subscription status in sync, and a Stripe Customer Portal for billing. Temple reports require an active subscription.

Interactive oracle card pulls, recipe-of-the-day, and journaling are written as coming later. They are not part of this build.

Designed and built the product end to end: the Next.js app, the design system, Supabase auth and data, the chart and interpretation pipeline, and Stripe subscription gating.

Next.js (App Router) and TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Supabase (auth and Postgres), Stripe, AstroWay for chart calculation, and xAI Grok for report writing. Birth places are geocoded before the chart is cast.

Members can join, subscribe, and open a natal report and a daily transit reading written from their own birth data. The public site carries the teaching pages and moon calendar, and billing stays in sync with Stripe without a separate email-marketing tool.
