Content writing and SEO for Lovebug and Natusan, the planet-friendly D2C cat brands from Mars Petcare 🐱
The Lovebug blog
From 2021 to 2023, I worked with Mars Petcare to strengthen and grow their D2C cat care brands and build an engaged online community, with a specific focus on blogs and social media.
Based on established content pillars, I planned and wrote regular articles for both brand blogs, with a mix of informative product-based content, guides for cat owners, environment and sustainability-focused articles, and fun or topical cat-based content.
An article on Natusan's partnership with Ecologi
My work on the Natusan blog saw an average of 2500 new organic users per month via blog posts, with year-on-year improvements across all metrics:
40% increase in organic sessions
28% increase in new organic users
5% increase in time spent on blog pages
I also implemented Natusan's SEO strategy, achieving Google's featured snippets for key cat-related queries. One specific Google snippet, from a blog article about cat years and calculating your pet's age, resulted in:
554% increase in organic sessions
625% increase in organic users
