Hunger and malnutrition are commonly interrelated; however, they remain two distinct key terms. These two obstacles negatively correlate with the well-being of people; thus, a deep understanding of what hunger and malnutrition are will help in the recognition of how they draw back three of the well being elements. These three aspects could be condensed into the social, physical, and mental well-being of individuals. According to the article written by Arora et al. (2017) , not merely is the well-being of people defined as the disappearance of health issues, but it is also the availability of healthy social, mental, and physical opportunities. This awareness, in consequence, would reflect the positive impacts of reducing these controlling factors. Moreover, it will aid in finding solutions to tackle these issues. To begin with, hunger, which could be represented as an undesired feeling as defined in the paper written by the Food and Agriculture Organization [FAO] (2022), is driven by not having the required level of caloric consumption, and maintaining this for a long period of time might accelerate the issue severely to become chronic. This caloric intake is required to contribute to constructing the simplest energy-building unit that is used by body cells which is the Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). ATP, which is usually from carbohydrates, breaks the bonds between its phosphate molecules to release energy required for reactions, such as active transport in cells. On the other hand, as specified in the paper published by the World Health Organization [WHO] (2022), malnutrition could be referred to as the ingestion of micronutrients below their normal level, or the failure of human organs to ingest micronutrients (National Cancer Institute, n.d.) . There is a significant difference between the two terms although they always come together. Malnutrition, also malnourishment, is an issue that gets revealed by symptoms that appear while hunger is determined by a physical sensation.
