Advanced Video Editing for Social Media and Marketing

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art & Design. I have extensive video editing experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop to create videos and animations for marketing and promotional purposes. I have four years of experience using Premiere to edit shots and adjust soundtracks, and knowledge of using Adobe Audition. I also have over six years of experience using Photoshop to produce illustrations, storyboards, and animations. My training involved designing characters and environments, creating storyboards, and creating animatics with sound using Premiere and After Effects.

In my professional experience, I worked as an Animation Producer at Panscene Creative and Culture Technology in Beijing, where I designed and created a 4.5-minute demo of an animated video, translating comic books into animation using Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere. I researched and learned the entire procedure for creating moving comic animation and collaborated with directors and colleagues to achieve challenging animation objectives.

As a Marketing Artist at SupplyWisdom, I created a 2-minute animated explainer video using online platforms, Photoshop, and Premiere for promotional purposes. Working as the only animator, I researched and identified the best animation solutions for the company’s needs, developed storyboards and character designs, created motion graphics, and edited sound effects, all while meeting tight deadlines.

I am an excellent communicator and fast learner, enjoying work both independently and as part of a team. I can quickly understand the vision of a project and take directions well. In my last project, I completed the assigned video task using After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere weeks ahead of schedule and received positive feedback from my department head. My passion for creating original and entertaining animations and my strong skill set make me an ideal candidate for advanced video editing positions for social media and marketing.
