Dar Lmanzah is a high-end Moroccan restaurant, celebrating the timeless traditions and vibrant cultural heritage of Fez. The brand identity, "So Authentic, So Fez," reflects the essence of the city's deep-rooted customs, where the past and present seamlessly intertwine to offer an immersive dining experience. The visual concept draws inspiration from the traditional architecture and craftsmanship of Fez, symbolizing the resilience and growth of Moroccan culture.

At the heart of the brand is a minimalist design approach that honors the elegance and simplicity found in Moroccan art. The use of geometric patterns inspired by Fez’s renowned zellige tiles and natural motifs serves as a tribute to the city’s cultural depth, while clean lines and modern elements bring sophistication. Through this design, Dar Lmanzah invites guests to experience the richness of Moroccan heritage in a contemporary, luxurious setting.

The main challenge was to design a visual identity that honored the rich cultural traditions of Fez while still appealing to modern, high-end diners. We needed to create something that felt luxurious, yet stayed true to the city's authentic roots.

Solution:

We achieved this by blending traditional Moroccan patterns with a modern, minimalist design. Elegant typography and Color Palette brought a sense of sophistication, while the overall look stayed connected to Fez’s heritage. The result was a balanced identity that feels both authentic and refined.
